After an interesting journey from Craighouse with a few stops on the way we reached our destination for the afternoon, the Gulf of Corryvreckan. Jura on the left, Scarba on the right, the famous Corryvreckan whirlpool somewhere ahead. So far it all looks quite calm, but interesting sights lay ahead…
A regular visitor to the Corryvreckan, the RIB of Venture West is cruising right around the whirlpool on a beautiful sunny April day. We watched it from the far north of Jura during our Jura excursion with the Islay walking week.
