Spotted at the RSPB Loch Gruinart reserve on Islay, a Buzzard being chased by two Gulls. The Buzzard decided to fly away.

I must admit I’m not sure where on Islay I took this. I’ve got a feeling it’s somewhere in the Kilchoman/Coull area though, looking towards Saligo (I think the hill on the left might be Cnoc Mor near Coull). Anyway, a small group of Barnacle Geese over a field. And one lone Gull.
Wave breaking over Port Charlotte pier, Isle of Islay

On a windy day on Islay the waves often break spectacularly over Port Charlotte pier. The gulls don’t seem to take much notice though, largely ignoring the wave breaking only a few feet away.
