Cloudy sunset view to Islay and Jura from Gròb Bàgh, Isle of Gigha

A mostly cloudy June evening at the southern end of Gigha near Gròb Bàgh, looking west to Islay (centre) and Jura with the Paps of Jura (right). When I took the pictures for this panorama the sun was just hiding behind the clouds (it did show briefly at times), but it is just right of centre between Islay and Jura.

A view west from Creag Bhàn, the highest hill on Gigha at 101 metres. Islay (left) and Jura with the distinctive Paps of Jura (right) on the horizon. Many much higher hills don’t have as impressive views as this one, taken on a beautiful sunny June day.
