A curious Highland Coo near the top of the hill at the old radar station near Kilchiaran. Kilchiaran Bay mostly hidden behind the hill below, the entrance to the bay is to the right of the head of the Highland Coo.

Kilchoman and Saligo from Sanaigmore panorama, Isle of Islay

A view on Islay fascinating west coast, looking south from the cliffs at Sanaigmore. The cliffs in the shade in the foreground are Sliabh Bhrothain (72m), to the right of it the cliffs known as Sleeping Giant to some and Opera House Rocks to others (unusual to see it from the back). Behind it, mostly hidden, is Saligo Bay. Next the hills at Coull Farm, Cnoc Mòr (82m, left) and Carn Mòr (56m, right). Behind it is Machir Bay. In the distance Kilchoman with the Kilchoman Crags, leading on to the shoreline past Kilchiaran.

A dramatic view on the west coast of the Rhinns of Islay, looking north from the coast south west of Tormisdale. Machir Bay with the dunes at Kilchoman left of centre, Kilchiaran Bay towards the right partially hidden by the ridge on the right. If you look very closely you can make out the telecoms masts at the old radar station. Coull Point on the far left. Loch Gorm behind the Kilchoman dunes.
