Kilchoman distillery still house in Sep 2021, Isle of Islay

From its small beginnings in the early 2000s Islay’s farm distillery has grown significantly. This is a view of the new and expanded still house in September 2021. The weather wasn’t great for it, but you get an idea of the views out over the fields in the west of Islay from the still house.

One of the few distilleries in Scotland still doing some of their own maltings (of which three are on Islay) is Kilchoman distillery. Here some smoke is swirling around the pagoda.
