While the weather on Islay in June is often among the sunniest of the year, there will be rainy periods. Here a rain shower was passing through during my daily walk on Kilchoman beach in Machir Bay.

Low tide at the southern end of Kilchoman beach in Machir Bay on the west coast of Islay. Some of the rocks in the beach are exposed while the water is out.
