Low tide in Loch Gruinart, some of the Barnacle Geese spending the winter on Islay have decided to roost here on a November afternoon.

I’m not sure what the collective noun for Lapwings is, a quick internet search brought me deceit or desert. Either way, here are quite a few Lapwings in flight at Gruinart.
