Very last daylight with the Moon taking over providing some light at Gruinart. Some Barnacle Geese are arriving for the roost overnight.

An evening at Loch Gruinart, looking towards a cottage from the RSPB bird hide. The lights have come on in the cottage as the night falls, the light in the windows providing an idea of warmth against the cool blue dark evening light.

I’m not entirely sure from where I took this picture, I think either from the RSPB bird hide or the viewing platform at Gruinart. The view is north east over the flats and Loch Gruinart with the Moon rising over the hills. Barnacle Geese lifting off at the loch.
