A picture courtesy of my sister Imke, as that dot in the centre in the distance is me, walking back towards her from the northern end of Kilchoman beach on the west coast of Islay. Coull Farm on the hills on the right.

Another picture from me going wild swimming in Machir Bay off Kilchoman beach, here my sister Imke captured me splashing around a bit in the waves. In this picture it might look like I’m in deep water, but rest assured I wasn’t. As there can be dangerous currents in Machir Bay I made sure I stayed close to the shore and was always able to stand.

Out on a June late evening walk around sunset on the dunes at the war cemetery. Spotted these interesting clouds over the crags between Kilchoman and Kilchiaran.
