The coast around Mala Bholsa in the north of Islay has some amazing landscapes with all kinds of rock formations. This is one of the many natural arches in the area, behind it some interesting rocks rising out of the sea. In the background Colonsay and Mull with Ben More can be seen in the distance.

Looking west over Bàgh an Dà Dhoruis and the north coast of Islay, Mala Bholsa visible in the distance. Thanks to Anna and Ewan I’ve learned that Bàgh an Dà Dhoruis means as much as Bay of the Two Doors (dà = 2; dorus = door) because of the natural arches and caves, there’s a natural arch in the cliffs on the right, there’s at least one other somewhere as well I assume.
