A view from an Islay ferry approaching the Sound of Islay on an April evening. The low sun above McArthur’s Head in front of us. Beinn Bheigier, the highest hill on Islay, towards the left.

A view west from the foot of Creag Bhàn, looking over a cottage in the Ardailly area. Islay with Beinn Bheigier and McArhtur’s Head in the distance across the Sound of Jura.

One of my favourite views of Islay in any weather, Gleann Choireadail at the southern end of the Sound of Islay. McArthur’s Head lighthouse just visible on the left. Seen from a ferry on the way to Port Askaig.
