A picture from the very first WalkIslay Islay walking week in 2003. This walk took us from Saligo past the Opera House Rocks and out to Gleann Tuath before returning to Saligo.
A dark and forbidding view from the north west of Islay, from the cliffs around An Sguit (between Geodha Ghille Mhóire and Carraig nam Fear). This is where the Exmouth hit the cliffs and sank with the tragic loss of many victims.
