A nice view from an Islay walking week walk a number of years ago. walking in the area around Ballygrant. The Paps of Jura towering over the landscape and the Sound of Islay (just visible towards the right). Just below us a loch, although I’m not sure which one. I think it might be Loch Allan, if you can confirm or correct me please post it in the comments.

An October morning at Kilchoman in the west of Islay. Looking east towards the distant Paps of Jura we can see a few sheep grazing under various interesting clouds in the mild morning light. If you look carefully you can also just spot Kilchoman distillery towards the left.
