Spotted during an April walk on the Loch Indaal Way coastal path: Two Oystercatchers hunting for food in a grassy field on the shore of Loch Indaal. In the distance the Paps of Jura are towering over the scene.

Spotted on the shore between Bruichladdich and Port Charlotte on the Rhinns of Islay: A tiny knoll (well, really a large stone with turf covering it) just opposite the Paps of Jura in the distance across Loch Indaal.

Out for walk along Loch Indaal between Port Charlotte and Bruichladdich on a beautiful bright and sunny April day. The well known Paps of Jura visible in the distance behind Bridgend Woods at the top of the loch
