Seen from somewhere near the Loch Indaal lighthouse, a view of Port Charlotte pier during a November dawn. While there are clouds in the distance in the south west there is clear sky above, leading to a beautiful bright sunrise later during the morning. Also notice the Mull of Oa in the distance on the left.

A view of Port Charlotte on an overcast November evening from just across the bridge over Abhainn Gearach. Main Street passing the former Port Charlotte distillery warehouses now home to the Youth Hostel and the Islay Natural History Trust. Just down the road the Port Charlotte Hotel. Unfortunately I didn’t manage to catch a clear night during this visit, so it’s just clouds above, not a starry sky.

A blustery November day at the Loch Indaal lighthouse just outside Port Charlotte on the Rhinns of Islay. The waves are nothing spectacular, it wasn’t windy enough for that, but still looked nice breaking over the rocks below the lighthouse.
