A female Hen Harrier on the hunt, flying low above some Yellow Flag Iris in a field. Not entirely sure where I took the picture apart from that it was on the Loch Gorm circuit, I think probably somewhere between Coull Farm and Saligo.

Not entirely sure where exactly, but my sister Imke spotted this Bumblebee on a small flower in the grass during a walk along Islay’s west coast north of Saligo.
