In the hills near Sanaigmore in the north west of Islay, impressive horns on this Highland Cattle. Not to be messed with, I walked around it in a wide circle.

A view north east along the coast between Sanaigmore and Ardnave. Waves are rolling in from the Atlantic, breaking as they approach the shore.

I’m not sure where exactly this is, except that it is somewhere between Gruinart and Ardnave. This was during a walk at the Islay walking week a few years back, we walked from Gruinart to Ardnave over the hills and returned along Loch Gruinart. The hills in the distance are near Sanaigmore.
