A panoramic view from the veranda of the Bunnahabhain distillery visitor centre over the bay and the Sound of Islay. On a clearer day you see Colonsay and Mull in the far distance, during this visit in April it was too hazy to see them. Still, a nice view of the Paps of Jura on the right.

A view from the ferry approaching Port Askaig in the Sound of Islay on an April evening. A snow capped Ben More on Mull in the distance. In the foreground Carragh an t-Sruith lighthouse on Islay’s neighbour Jura.
