It isn’t always sunny on Islay, there’s also quite a bit of rain coming in from the west, from the Atlantic. Good for whisky and farming, both important industries on Islay. Not so good for tourism, although this picture was taken during an Islay walking week walk in the pouring rain. Yes, despite the pouring rain we still went out for the walk and enjoyed these views of some cliffs on the Oa.
