A view at the southern end of Machir Bay on the west coast of Islay. In the ever changing beach an area with many puddles had formed, the water standing in the puddles after the tide had moved out.
Two of Islay’s autumn and winter visitors in one picture, Whooper Swans and Barnacle Geese. Spotted in a field near Sunderland Farm just as the Geese were lifting off.
A nice summer evening a few years ago at Claggain Bay on the south coast of Islay. A lone angler (I think a friend joined him later) is trying to catch some fish, unfortunately can’t remember if he was successful.
