Somehow I liked the way they looked and the contrast between the three black ones and the one white.

Killinallan dunes at high tide, Isle of Islay

Plan your walks carefully, or you might get caught out. During low tide you can easily walk around Killinallan Point in the north of Islay, during high tide the water at times (also depending on how the sand has shifted) might come up all the way to the dunes.
The Museum of Islay Life (and a gull)

A very interesting museum, the Museum of Islay Life, housed in a former church in Port Charlotte. Also notice the gull just about to land on the bell.
