It wasn’t doing an awful lot apart from occasionally turning its head. And it was quite far away so even with my biggest lens and cropping the picture this is as good as it got. But it was still nice to watch this Golden Eagle on a rocky outcrop near the top of Loch Indaal for I think about 10-15 minutes (I got some better views with my binoculars, just not closer pictures). Then it flew off towards Bridgend Woods, where I lost sight of it.

Buzzard and male Hen Harrier near the top of Loch Indaal, Isle of IslayWhile I was sitting in my car watching the Golden Eagle at the top of Loch Indaal I noticed some movement above me out of the corner of my eyes. Quickly got out of the car and managed to grab a few shots of a Buzzard and a male Hen Harrier seemingly having a disagreement.
