A June evening near the southern end of Gigha at the beach of Gròb Bàgh. If you look carefully you’ll notice the seam of pure white quartz on the rocks sticking out into the water. The southern end of Islay with the Oa visible on the horizon.

A beautiful bright June early evening at the old stone pier at Port na Gallochoille on the east coast of Gigha. The bright sun is mirrored on the water next to the pier, making it extra bright. Some houses at Ardminish in the distance on the right.
A view of the MV Loch Ranza leaving Gigha for the mainland. Seen from Port na Gallochoille on a June early evening. Notice the buoy and the cormorants/shag (not sure what they are) on the rocks, one drying its wings.
