A dramatic view from Kilchoman beach on a changeable November day, some dramatic clouds moving past with bright gaps in between. Waves rolling in from the Atlantic, breaking as they approach the beach.

I had just arrived at the car park at the RSPB Gruinart reserve for a visit to the bird hide when I heard the unmistakable sound of lots of Barnacle Geese approaching. Seconds later a good number of them flew right over on the way to the flats around Loch Gruinart.
