Walking along the track from Claddach to the back road I spotted this deer in a colourful field. It stayed just long enough to allow me to take this picture.

Following on from the June sunset from Four Winds on the Rhinns of Islay this is how looked not long after the sunset. It’s even more difficult now, but if you look very closely you can just pick out the Currie Sands towards the right in the middle distance.
I really like the light and colours of the gloaming, I think it’s often nicer than the sunset light. What do you think?
