A beautiful sunny April afternoon on the south coast of Islay, driving out to Claggain Bay I got this brilliant view of Ardbeg distillery with the Southern Skerries behind and the Argyll mainland on the horizon. Also notice the two lambs relaxing in the field in front of the distillery.

During a November 2025 walk out on Kilnaughton beach, looking across the bay to the Port Ellen maltings and the old Port Ellen distillery warehouses. If you look closely, hidden behind the trees you can just make out the new/rebuilt Port Ellen distillery.
