Another view of the model steamer Jeanie Deans 1931 on Loch a’ Bharain just off the Crinan Canal. One of the various models the Mid Argyll Radio Sailing group shows on Loch a’ Bharain. Well worth a stop on a journey to/from Islay.

This one is the Jeanie Deans 1931, which in full size used to sail on the Clyde in the 1930s to 1960s. The owner (and builder) of the Jeanie Deans also has a model of the Waverley, which he also sometimes brings to Loch a’ Bharain. Worth giving it a try on a journey to/from Islay….
