A different, distant, view of Saligo Bay on the west coast of Islay. The view is from the old radar station at Kilchiaran, looking north past Kilchoman. Saligo Bay is partially hidden by the ridge stretching out from Coull, but I think you can still make out a good part of it. Behind it a well known rock formation. Oh, and the Atlantic stretching out to the horizon.

As of writing this unfortunately the only way to see the famous and beautiful Kilchoman Cross, from the road behind it. As the ruin of Kilchoman church has become unsafe the council had to close the cemetery around it, with it blocking direct access to the cross.

A November afternoon at Gruinart, the light slowly fading and a crescent Moon visible in the sky. In the distance some Barnacle Geese are arriving. If you look closely you can just make out some Whooper Swans on the water.
