Spotted at the northern end of Kilchoman beach on the west coast of Islay, some Sea Pinks growing on rocks, partially covered by wind blown sand.

While most of Islay’s Bluebells can be found in and around Bridgend Woods they also plentiful in other places. These I spotted along the path to the old bird hide at RSPB Gruinart, with a Hoverfly photobombing while I was taking this picture.
