Dreich day at Currie Sands, Isle of Islay

It almost looks like an aerial picture, but this view is actually from Beinn Tart a’Mhill, at 232m the highest hill on the Rhinns of Islay. In front of the lighthouse are Port Wemyss on the left and Portnahaven on the right. Looking across the North Channel you can also make out the coast of Ireland in the distance.
A view of the old warehouses in Port Charlotte (now owned and used by Bruichladdich distillery) on a beautiful June evening. On the left the Loch Indaal lighthouse behind the trees. In the distance, on the other side of the loch, you can also make out Islay House between the trees of Bridgend woods.
