Unfortunately now closed to the public, this is a viewpoint from one of the walks at Jura House, Brosdale. The view is across the southern end of the Sound of Islay, McArthur’s Head lighthouse across from the bench my sister Imke is sitting on. Beinn Bheigier (491m) just right of centre.
A view over the Singing Sands looking north east with Carraig Fhada lighthouse on the right. A group of people just arriving having walked over from Kilnaughton. If you look closely you can also make out Port Ellen’s Ramsay Hall in the distance just to the right of the lighthouse.
