A beautiful November sunset watched from Kilchoman beach on the west coast of Islay. Some clouds on the horizon add to the mood and the colours, reflected on the sand of the wet beach. Only a tiny part of the old wreck of the Patti visible just in front of us, the rest buried under the constantly shifting sands.
On a clear view one of the best views on Islay, the view from the Rhinns of Islay across Loch Indaal. Here we take in three landmarks, the Paps of Jura, Loch Indaal lighthouse and Islay House (from left to right, obviously?)
