A beautiful June morning at Loch Skerrols in the centre of Islay near Bridgend. My sister Imke sitting on a bench at the shore, enjoying the calm views with the trees reflecting on the flat calm water.

A picture courtesy of my sister Imke, as it’s rather difficult to take a picture of yourself when going for a swim. That’s me going for a short wild swim in shallow waters at the southern end of Kilchoman beach in Machir Bay. As there can be dangerous currents in Machir Bay I made sure I stayed close to the shore and was always able to stand. Still had a lot of fun splashing through the waves in the surf coming in from the Atlantic.
