A November late afternoon on Islay at Loch Indaal. A handful of Barnacle Geese scattered along the shore. Bowmore with Bowmore distillery on the shore on the right nicely visible across the loch.
Taken from a low vantage point on Kilchoman beach, a view over northern Machir Bay with Coull Point under a big clear sky in the gloaming.
I think I almost got wet feet taking this picture, managed to jump to safety just in time. Water from a breaking wave rushing in over the rocks in the sand at Saligo Bay on the west coast of Islay.
