A damp November Sunday view from the Loch Indaal Way on the Rhinns of Islay. A few Geese in the fields, mainly Greylag Geese in the front, mainly Barnacle Geese in the back. And an orange digger in the background.
Another memory from the unusual snowy return journey from Islay in early December 2023. The next morning I went for a winter wonderland walk in the area, among other things I noticed these geese sitting in a snow covered field with the fence stretching into the distance. I quite like the monochrome colours in this view.
After finishing some Islay single malt whisky shopping at Bruichladdich distillery I noticed a good number of Barnacle Geese passing over the Laddie Shop
