Not a regular sight, but occasionally someone water-skiing can be spotted on Loch Indaal. Here we can see Uiskentuie in the background, another view has Bowmore in the background. Both seen from Bruichladdich pier.
A nice view from an Islay walking week walk a number of years ago. walking in the area around Ballygrant. The Paps of Jura towering over the landscape and the Sound of Islay (just visible towards the right). Just below us a loch, although I’m not sure which one. I think it might be Loch Allan, if you can confirm or correct me please post it in the comments.
A view from hills to the south east of Loch Finlaggan, possibly Robolls Hill. A good number of Barnacle Geese in flight over the loch (picture was taken during a walking week walk a number of years ago in April)
