Opposite on the other side of the loch is Bowmore, if you look closely you can also spot Gartbreck on the right hand side of the picture.
During low tide you can walk out quite far into Loch Indaal (just watch out for the incoming tide to make sure you’re not surprised), here’s a view back to Bowmore having walked out from near the Gaelic college.
