One of the things I try to do on all of my Islay visits: Fill a bottle of Port Charlotte Islay single malt whisky valinches. This picture is from my visit in November 2022 after a warehouse tasting, as of writing this the bottle is sitting in my whisky shelf waiting for a good excuse to open it.
A view from the stairs leading into the still house at Bruichladdich, looking up one of the stills used to make the tasty whisky.. A slightly different edit to a picture I’ve shared previously.
Not a regular sight, but occasionally someone water-skiing can be spotted on Loch Indaal. Here we can see Uiskentuie in the background, another view has Bowmore in the background. Both seen from Bruichladdich pier.
