A view from the northern end of Kilchoman beach on an April morning, groups of shore birds on the beach. They all seem to have largely kept among themselves. From front to back Curlew Sandpipers, Oystercatchers and some Gulls.

Another take on the Curlew on the move in the high grass next to the ‘back road’ from Portnahaven to Port Charlotte near Lossit Bay. Does this look more “dynamic”? Which version do you prefer?
In addition to the Golden Eagle or the Buzzard and Hen Harrier there were also a few other birds at the top of Loch Indaal, like this Curlew and gull in the shallow water.
