One of my favourite views of Islay in any weather, Gleann Choireadail at the southern end of the Sound of Islay. McArthur’s Head lighthouse just visible on the left. Seen from a ferry on the way to Port Askaig.

A view back to Islay and Jura from the ferry about to enter West Loch Tarbert on a crossing to Kennacraig in April 2023. The weather had been beautiful and sunny with bright blue skies for 5 days, lasting for the ferry crossing as well.
