A November afternoon on Islay, somewhere on route from Kilchoman past Loch Gorm to Gruinart. Some beautiful mild low light over the low hills on Islay and the impressive Paps of Jura in the distance.

Watched from the “old” hide (south hide) at Gruinart, one of the summer visitors to Islay preening its feathers before flying on to catch insects.
