Always an amazing sight, the thousands of Barnacle Geese wintering on Islay lifting off after having been spooked by something, may be a raptor, may be a human getting too close, anything.

Spotted from the old/south hide at Gruinart, a male Reed Bunting trying to hide in the long grass.

Not the clearest shot, but I was glad to have captured it in the first place: A Swallow emerging from the water after a low pass and briefly dipping into the water (I guess trying to catch an insect on the water).
