Seen from the new/north hide at Gruinart, a large number of Barnacle Geese in flight. This view only shows a small section of the sky on a November afternoon on Islay.

A majestic Whooper Swan flying towards the bird hide at Gruinart for a very close pass. I don’t know how big this one was, but typically they have a wingspan of about 200-250cm / 7-8ft. Taken in November 2018
