Picture of a painting of a village scene on a wallSean O’Leary created a number of wall paintings mainly in hotels and guesthouses on Islay and Jura. Unfortunately not all of them have survived. This one did survive and is now displayed in the dining room of The Islay Hotel in Port Ellen.

After the demolition Roland showed me the foundations and where various parts of the new building would be. A few years later the hotel was completed and reopened.
