Finishing for the weekend during the Islay Hotel rebuild

An older picture from the rebuilding project of the Islay Hotel in Port Ellen a few years ago. A worker is shutting the building site for the weekend. The hotel is now finished and open for business, seven days a week. No more finishing for the weekend.

An old picture from the start of the project to rebuild the Islay Hotel in Port Ellen. This is from the start of the project, shortly after the old building had been demolished. Just a gaping hole in the ground where the foundations were being put into place. The project has since been completed and the hotel has successfully reopened.
