Admittedly not a direct excursion from Islay in this case as the trip starts from Crinan, but as it was linked to an Islay visit I still count it as an excursion from Islay. A slightly unusual view in the Sound of Islay: When the usual Jura ferry was away in April 2023 for repairs/ maintenance the MV James took over to ferry vehicles and passengers across the Sound of Islay.
