Met this young dog on the Corran Sands on Islay’s neighbour Jura, wanting to play fetch again and again. Admittedly it’s not a stick though, but some seaweed which had to stand in as a stick. As you can see dog was happy anyway, wagging its tail.

Admittedly not the greatest picture, but then it was taken with a relatively small lens from a moving boat in bad light. Returning to Craighouse from a RIB trip to the Corryvreckan Whirlpool we spotted this Golden Eagle being pursued by what I believe to be some crows (I think the ones closest to it are two Hooded Crows?) above the Bay of Small Isles.

A June day on a small beach in Craighouse on Jura. Some changeable weather, a heavy shower visible in the distance across the Bay of Small Isles while still bright on the beach..
