A view just around the corner of the cottage I was staying in on Gigha. Some cattle resting on the shore of shallow Ceann an t-Sàilein. Kintyre in the distance on the other side of the Sound of Gigha. You can’t see it from here, but the small pier at Port na Gallochoille is just around the corner of the slightly higher green ground right of centre.
The counterpart to the view west from Creag Bhàn panorama, the view east to Kintyre. The entrance to West Loch Tarbert (home to Kennacraig with the Islay ferry terminal) on the left. The Mull of Kintyre on the right. Bottom right shows a view indicator (although you won’t be able to read it in this picture), the trig point also on the right.
