A nice view of Laphroaig distillery in the mild June evening light, seen from the passing Islay ferry to Port Ellen. The lettering on warehouse no.1 had recently been repainted, this is how it looked in June 2015.
Standing in the Friends of Laphroaig field on Islay, a dry stone cairn built for the 200th anniversary celebrations of Laphroaig in 2015. The cairn was unveiled by Prince Charles in July 2015.
A lone standing stone in a field at Kilbride. Texa in the distance off the south coast of Islay. And if you look closely you can just make out the roofs of some of the Laphroaig warehouse on the shore (to the left of the stone).
