A view from the Big Strand (the longest beach on Islay by some margin) across Laggan Bay and Loch Indaal to the small village of Nerabus on the Rhinns of Islay.
Does this count as synchronized preening? Three Gulls sitting on rocks overlooking Loch Indaal from the Rhinns of Islay are preening the same area of their bodies.
Taken on a beautiful June morning at dawn, a view of Port Charlotte from the shore. The picture doesn’t fully do it justice, the light and mood was just amazing. It was just so calm and quiet, only a few birds calling as well as the sound of my own breathing and footsteps, nothing else.
